In Thailand visit the
Grand Palace;
explore the Floating Markets by small canal boats; see the famous
Bridge over The River Kwai; ride elephants, go bamboo rafting, explore mystical;
take dinner on a rice barge explore the night markets and learn how to cook Thai
food.
In Vietnam explore Hanoi by
cyclo cruising the magical old quarter and French colonial districts and
attending the famous Water Puppet Show. Visit the Endangered Primate Rescue
Centre; watch a traditional dance by Muong villagers; trek through the
rainforest. On Halong Bay visit the caves and islands; go swimming and fishing.
Take a Vietnamese cooking lesson.
In Sri Lanka it’s all about
elephants, fire walkers and beaches. Take a jeep safaris and ride elephants.
Visit the Elephant Orphanage. Cycle around the Medieval Capital of Polonnaruwa
and we visit the Hill Capital of Kandy, where we watch Kandyan dancers, drummers
and fire-walking. We walk though spice gardens. Relax on the palm-fringed
beaches of the south coast at Bentota.
In Nepal the cultural
adventure menu includes trekking Himalayan Mountains and searching for rhinos.
Hike up to the World Peace Buddhist Stupa, before heading off in search of the
One Horned Rhino and elusive Bengal Tiger in Royal Chitwan National Park. Here
we travel by canoe and on elephant back looking for wildlife, and join in a
traditional stick dance.
India presents activities
with a definite “wow” factor. See tigers; visit the Taj Mahal. Discover a camel
breeding farm; travel by camel, bicycle rickshaws, jeeps and boats. Look for
birds in the Keoladeo National Park and tigers and sloth bears in Ranthambore
National Park. We explore Japiur’s Amber Palaces.
China offers not-to-be-missed
action. Join Chinese cooking lessons and go kite flying. Walk along the
Great Wall of China and explore the Forbidden City, Tian’an Men Square and the
Summer Palace. Visit the Pandas at Beijing Zoo. Cycle along the City Wall of
Xi’an; see the Terracotta Army. Cruise along the Huangpu River; take a boat trip
in the Zhujiajiao Water Town.
