Vermont: Stowe - Cross-country skiing and Broadway sing-a-longs. Trapp Family Lodge, with its extraordinary mountaintop setting, provides oodles of family activities all year long but during the winter months the Nordic Center at the resort is the focus of all things snowy. The trail system, which is constantly expanding and improving, offers some of the best cross-country skiing in the USA. As for the rest of the fun the Nordic Barn offers guided horseback riding, cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing for all ages and abilities. The resort has a game room with ping-pong, a pool table, and hoops and the video game room is equipped with Playstation2, XBox360, and Nitendo GameCube and a multitude of games.
