Younger guests may take advantage of RIU's children's swimming pool, mini club, or a children's playground plus select locations offer "RiuLand" kids' club. All locations offer daytime entertainment programs for children ages 4 to 12 (daily), entertainment and activities well-suited for adults,
as well as live music, shows, and lively RIU evening programs (daily) for all ages.  While area activities may vary by location the complimentary sports and activities include a gym, sauna and Jacuzzi, tennis, sports pitch, table tennis, volleyball, and one introductory scuba diving lesson in the pool, windsurfing, catamaran, kayaks, body board and snorkeling equipment. Adults receive complimentary entrance to night club onsite with drinks included.

All inclusive family fun 24/7. RIU's 24-hour all inclusive service means all meals and snacks from full American breakfast buffet, Continental breakfast options, on the spot cooking stations and various buffets to special themed evenings and distinctive restaurants with full service are included. As an added bonus Renova Spa services are available for guests at an additional charge.

Editor’s note. Considering an all inclusive in Mexico? The real reason the all inclusive concept works for families is mom gets a break too. And the family vacation cost is predetermined. After reviewing more than a dozen RIU locations it is obvious the “fun time” menu is comprehensive. Of course it is always possible to spend more on excursions or spa services but it will not be essential in order to have a complete family vacation. The abundance of food and drink is guaranteed. Even picky eaters will be satisfied. RIU’s well-trained bi-lingual and tri-lingual staff knows the meaning of hospitality.
 
Wrist action. Guests wear resort wrist bands to ensure access to the proper resort benefits an obvious benefit when vacationing with teens. An all inclusive holiday is like taking a cruise on land except at RIU drinks are included and there is no chance of getting seasick. RIU’s 24-hour all inclusive atmosphere means there’s a daily schedule; you can eat anytime you wish; there’s always something to do for kids or adults; it’s easy to relax and do nothing. Just get to the resort and your family vacation will simply happen.
