Virginia: Virginia Beach, Reunions and Gatherings Made Easy. NeptuneWhile senior family members engage in the customary “remember when” dialog younger family members connect or reconnect with siblings and cousins. It's a blast to see how many noses match, reminisce about the last reunion and learn just how much you may now have in common. The bonds that are made at family reunions truly last a lifetime. Virginia Beach offers great spaces for meeting long lost relatives and their own families.

When it is easy to plan it probably is going to happen. Jennifer Lynch coordinates the team that helps make reunions in Virginia Beach happen. In addition to answering questions and assisting with area connections, her seasoned team fills requests for destination information by sending a Virginia Beach Tour Planner, a guidebook containing the details about events, attractions, hotels, restaurants and all kinds of fun things to do.

Togethering at the beach has its advantages. Depending on the needs of each family, an inviting cover letter offers suggestions ideal for togethering. We have included a few ideas below. For the big picture you will have to order the Virginia Beach Tour Planner.

Rent a 2, 4 or 6-seat surrey bicycle.  A peddle along the Boardwalk is definitely a signature activity. Gather the kids and grandkids for a spin ending with a stop for ice cream or an Italian gelato. Have your group participate in a Boardwalk Scavenger Hunt, the details found on page 31 in the Tour Planner.

Ride the waves. Take an Undersea Adventure Cruise sailing from the Fishing Center at Rudee Inlet. Enjoy the marvelous sea breezes and keep your camera ready for some dolphin action! All the details are on page 33 of the Virginia Beach Tour Planner.

Call on the Purple Cow. Set up a one-of-a-kind lunch catered for your whole family, naturally it will be kid friendly. Hint – try the purple homemade ice cream, Virginia Beach’s awesome purple treat. Look on page 53 of the Virginia Beach Tour Planner.

Kayak in the morning. The possibilities to enjoy an energizing excursion by kayak include both sea routes and wild spaces. Whether guided or self-guided a kayak tour along the Atlantic coastline or through Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge cannot be beat for making memories.  Call Ocean Rentals Sandbridge offers options and the details may be found on page 30 of the Virginia Beach Tour Planner.

See the fishes, count the birds. Not to be missed, the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center, featuring the state's aquatic and marine environments using more than 700,000 gallons of aquariums and live animal habitats. The dual building complex contains more than 350 hands-on exhibits as well as The Family IMAX® 3D Theater. Learn more about the options on page 26 of the Virginia Beach Tour Planner.  Surrey
Charter a sunset. For evening relaxation, try a smooth sailing dinner cruise aboard the “Virginia’s Jewel,” Virginia Beach’s newest charter yacht boat catering to groups large or small. The whole idea may be found on page 26 of the Virginia Beach Tour Planner.

Jet away. Visit Naval Air Station Oceana, the military’s most sophisticated jet base. Tour the flight line and then have lunch in the Officer’s Club with the pilots.  Refer to page 25 for arrangements.
