Snore with the dinosaurs, meet a live reptile, dig for fossils, or create a fossil replica. And then, see what happens when the lights go out. Each program begins at 7pm on both Friday and Saturday nights. Fee includes all activities and materials, bedtime snack, breakfast, a special take-home surprise, and admission to the Museum.
Dig for dinosaur bones. From June through August each year the museum conducts 90-minute adventures. Use real tools and techniques of palaeontology as a member of an excavation team working in the badlands. Uncover replicas of dinosaur bones, map a quarry, make a field jacket, and learn to read the stories fossils tell in this 90-minute program. Bonus points: Also during the summer months there is a special dino hour for children ages three to six. They'll learn all about dinosaurs, work in a realistic indoor quarry, and make a cool craft during 60-minute program.
