Texas Maze at Dewberry Farm (End of September to mid November). Perhaps one of the best agri-adventures in the country, Dewberry Farm shares its love of the season with an eight-acre interactive corn maze complete with “cornundrums” and a corn-cierge.  Add to that a creative series of family-friendly events including, goat walks, pig races, pumpkin picking, pumpkin carving, corn cannons, barrel train rides, hay rides, tire swings, and an awesome sunflower field. Visitors are encouraged to toast marshmallows, yodel a cowboy tune; listen to singing chickens; pan for semi-precious gems; cheer at the rubber duckie race; swing from 12-foot high bales of hay or try calf roping.  There is also the chance to go zip lining. For kids seven or younger there is Little Farmville a place to ride a trike around "Pedaler's Avenue", and rock on old-fashioned spring horses. Bonus Points: To enhance your agri-adventure take time to watch the farm’s honey bees at work and learn about honey making and why pollination is important to crops. Wait for it! On Saturday nights take a hayride through Pumpkin Hollow to see carved pumpkins glowing in the twilight. For an extra thrill meander the MAiZE by night and experience the eerie whispers of corn stalks. (Dewberry Farm is seven miles north of Brookshire on FM 362.
